If you have roamed around this website very much, you have already found out that it is all about Him. It is all about the Word of God that was sent to heal us and deliver us from destruction. You see, I don’t want you to be in ignorance like I was. As a young mother of three girls, I was bound by fear, nerves and anxiety and was diagnosed with hypoglycemia or low blood sugar as it is known. I suffered intensely. It was not until my dear aunt, Mama Jay, and her brother my uncle Bob, began to minister the Word to me that I thought there was any hope for me. They pointed me to Jesus and what he had done for me at Calvary – salvation – all areas of life.
After two years of much personal study and praying, I realized and accepted the truth that Jesus wanted me well. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. It was my lack of knowledge that had kept me sick and undone.
This is the point of these topics and corresponding scriptures: when I discovered the truth – I was mad at every church in town because I had never heard these truths. Of course, I had to forgive everyone I thought had failed me and vow not to do that myself. And so, my friends, this is why I am here. I trust what you find will put you on the path of growing in the grace and admonition of the Lord.
We call Him the Great Physician and appropriately so. Look at this scripture MARK 2:1 KJV: “ When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” (Also MATT. 9:12, LUKE 5:31 KJV) Then in LUKE 4:23 (KJV): “And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.” So obviously Jesus had accepted the position of The Physician.
We also know that physicians write prescriptions. Now, prescription means something prescribed; order; direction; a doctor’s written direction for the preparation and use of a medicine. This word prescription is interesting from Webster’s Dictionary. Just as a matter of sound practice, it really is a good idea to look up the meaning of a word in the dictionary. Better yet if it is a Bible word, look it up in either a Greek or Hebrew Concordance according to where you are reading or studying – Old or New Testament. You might be absolutely amazed at what it actually means versus what you may think it means. This is where confusion starts when words mean something different than we realized. The Prescriptions He has written are all found in the Bible, The Word of God.
There are multitudes of ailments that befall mankind. As much as we appreciate our doctors and the marvelous advancements that have been made, medicine cannot do for us what the Lord by His Word has done for us. Know this, the Lord, by The Holy Spirit and through His Word, can not only heal you physically but he can restore relationships. He knows how to heal a wounded heart, bring balance to our emotions, heal our memories and recover us from any and all destruction. He is the Master Comforter and will comfort us in grief and bring us through and out on the other side of loss of every kind. The list goes on and on and on. The Son of God walked as the Son of Man and experienced everything from rejection to betrayal. You can see more of The Humanity of Jesus found in the Store House. He is the Saviour, Healer, Deliverer, Restorer of the Breach, The Rock Comforter, Counselor, Redeemer, Bread of Life, the Way, the Truth and the Life.
